What was the UK's favourite new car colour in 2017?

Black was the most popular colour for new car buyers in the UK in 2017.

According to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, more than 500,000 black cars were sold last year, which accounted for 20.3% of all new car sales.

This was a change to 2016 when White was the most popular colour. The colour with the fastest growing demand in 2017 was gold, with demand up 19.1%, it still remained an extrovert choice with just 0.2% of the market.

The survey also revealed differences between regions, with black the colour of choice in southern England, but white still the most popular in northern England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Dolphin Parking Sensors Rolls Royce Silver Seraph

Mounted a set on a Rolls Royce Silver Seraph (1999)  this weekend, looked really nice, sprayed the sensors peacock blue metallic and mounted them in the original position of 2000 onwards models! The installation was really easy.

Dolphin Fitted to Lexus Skoda Octavia

This Skoda Octavia is Skoda paint colour "Storm Blue" which is a great match for the dolphin sensor colour "Sea Blue". The plate is a 10 reg and the customer installed the DPS400 kit himself.

Mazda MPV Fitted With Dolphin Parking Sensors

Mazda MPV with Reflex Blue parking sensors and tow bar. The Dolphin Parking Sensors are tow bar friendly and do not see the tow bar ball or towing electrics as they are close up to the bumper and sitting between the sensors which are evenly spaced out across the rear. Sea Blue is a better match to this colour if you have a similar colour vehicle.

You have 4 sensors fitted on the front in addition to the rear and because of the CANBUS wiring with bulb failure warning which pulses the rear lights you need to fit a relay on this model, see optional accessories
