What was the UK's favourite new car colour in 2017?
Black was the most popular colour for new car buyers in the UK in 2017.
According to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, more than 500,000 black cars were sold last year, which accounted for 20.3% of all new car sales.
This was a change to 2016 when White was the most popular colour. The colour with the fastest growing demand in 2017 was gold, with demand up 19.1%, it still remained an extrovert choice with just 0.2% of the market.
The survey also revealed differences between regions, with black the colour of choice in southern England, but white still the most popular in northern England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Car tax evasion triples after paper tax disc scrapped
The RAC said the decision to get rid of the paper tax disc three years ago has proved "costly" when it should have saved the Treasury £10m a year.
"It appears that having a visual reminder was an effective way to prompt drivers into renewing their car tax - arguably more drivers are now prepared to try their luck and see if they can get away with not paying any vehicle tax at all, or are simply forgetting to tax their vehicle when they are due to."
When the abolition of the paper tax disc was announced by then-Chancellor, George Osborne, the Treasury said it showed government was moving "into the modern age".
The RAC said a third of untaxed vehicles had changed hands since September 2016, indicating that many drivers were not aware that tax does not carry over when ownership changes.
The seller receives a refund of any full months of remaining tax while the new owner must tax the vehicle immediately.

Dolphin Parking Sensors For Nissan Navara
This is an 08 plated Nissan Navarra with a DPPK4 parking sensor kit fitted which is a package of separate front and rear kits. On the front is a set of 4 red sensors and the customer opted for the CANBUS interface to automatic the sensors to come in when the vehicles speed drops below 6mph.
On the rear because of the chrome bumper with discussions with the customer we have opted just to fit 2 sensors in iron grey on the footplate molding where the bumper is which is a good solution for a awkward car like this.

Dolphin Audio Fitted to Saab 07 Aero Convertible
Navy Blue Audio Kit Fitted to Saab 07 Aero Convertible, 07 Registration plate
Andrew Kemp March 09

A few days ago I purchased a DSP400 for my Saab 07 Convertible, which is now fitted and working perfectly. I placed my order mid afternoon and it arrived the next day, so the delivery was stunningly good. The box contained everything I needed and for once I decided to read the installation instructions. The only problem I had was how to undo the Saab trim clips, but having got the boot inner trim off one side the sensor installation was dead easy. Being a convertible and the reversing lights being in the boot lid, I thought getting power might be a problem but the reverse was true. All I had to do was to stop the hood half way down and all was revealed.

Mazda MPV Fitted With Dolphin Parking Sensors
Mazda MPV with Reflex Blue parking sensors
and tow bar. The Dolphin Parking Sensors are tow bar friendly and do
not see the tow bar ball or towing electrics as they are close up to the
bumper and sitting between the sensors which are evenly spaced out
across the rear. Sea Blue is a better match to this colour if you have a similar colour vehicle.
